After 2 unlistenable song releases, M.I.A. is back with "XXXO" off her as yet untitled forthcoming album due late June. This is what I was looking for in new M.I.A. music. I wasn't feeling the space song or "Born Free". "Born Free" sounds like someone recorded an actual abortion while Maya "raps" into headphones plugged into the mic output. However, "XXXO" is just pure commercial goodness. I just hope it's not an anti-anti-pop song like let's release this totally commercial pop song to spite mainstream radio bc i hate mainstream music!!!!! Just buy it on ITUNES, k?
